It was noted that within Canberra currently only a bus system is used although only a small number of the people use public transport (as discussed in my previous blog). Canberra's lack of density also means that there is a heavy reliance on cars as the transport, in fact Canberra was designed to be primarily used by motor vehicles - this option is obviously not sustainable and major real estate is being used for parking spaces. This reading further enhances the points discussed.
