119 Design: Response to Feedback

One of the responses were that the roof design needed to be more developed - it was always my intention to have people use the roof - with some molded cut outs within it so people could so - this did not come across in my final boards. These screen shots show how a ramp system could be included within the roof form - also doubling as seating

The use of a grass roof would create a more inviting place to be and will also help the building in terms of heating and cooling. Connecting these spaces would help in way finding aswell

It was also said that i had no way of protecting people from falling off the edge. The easiest/ most effective solution is to have glass balustrades along the edge of the building - from a distance these will appear to be invisible to keep with the clean form of the buliding.
