The diagram below represents how the programs within the transit centre relate to each other. The cycle centre will be a seperate entity within the transit centre and is highlighted in blue. In relation to master planning for this transit centre to work there must be affordable accomodation and commercial areas located close by - all of these elements together form a T.O.D (transit oriented development) The purpose of this is to reduce the level of car usage and make Canberra a more livable healthy city that is all interconnected via these new systems.
