058 Discussion: Presentation After-thought

After the presentation it was realised that we said there was no level of flexibility within the architectural design, this is not true. Part of the sustainable identity that we want to show will be entirely through the design. The main layer of the 6 S's that I found to be of most importance would be the layer of skin. Having a completely flexible layer on the exterior of the building that adjusts to the climate conditions and users needs would be the most visible and responsive aspect of the building. Architectural presence can be created by the flexible design, also the other layers of the building are important to but I think that in Australia's climate this can really work.
